I LOVE PLAINFIELD in an annual essay contest that has been inspiring creative community writers, ages 7 to 107, for fourteen years.  Held in conjunction with Plainfield Fest, I LOVE PLAINFIELD will blast back in 2008 when the Fest returns.

Held in conjunction with the Plainfield Police Department and the

American Legion, this special event for a special cause that has raised over $30,000 to date!

Here's how it works

First, you reserve a table for $25 (100% tax deductible).  Then, you get a group of 7-10 friends, family, neighbors, church buddies, co-workers, clients, or whomever's age 18 or above, to come play!  A table of 10 is $250 ($25 per person).

Thirdly, it's theme time!  Come up with a theme for your table to compete in our Best Costume and Best Table competitions.  Trivia-teers dress up and decorate their table thematically.  Why?  Because it's just plain fun! 

In the past, we've hosted "Desperate Housewives", "Superheros (see below)", "Roman Gods and Godesses", The Seven Dwarves", "Geek Squad", and "The Brainy Bunch" to name a few.

Everyone is encouraged to bring whatever snacks they'd like for the evening. 

(Food is not available this year).
